"Threads" and Open Studio
You are invited to our annual summer event. Over 50 artists open their studio doors for a 2 day event on Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd from 10 am to 4 pm. I am excited to share an installation of work, “Threads” looking at the interwoven views of my mixed cultural background, generously funded by the RACC (Regional Arts & Culture Council). There will be paintings, hand dyed silk organza and habitué fabrics, silk screens and collaged objects.
Visitors can listen to live music and enjoy food and drink while watching artist demonstrations in their private studio spaces. It’s a unique and vibrant event that embodies Portland’s creative spirit.
Check out our “Small Art/Big Give” fundraising art installation for a local non profit, participating artist donate a 6” x6” work to be sold for 50.00. 100% of the money raised will be given back to a community non profit.
Reception: Art and Live Music
Stop bye for an evening of art and live music in the lobby of the Hampton Inn and Suites in the Pearl District. I will have selected works on display in the lobby thru the end of July. I will be joined by John Silliman Dodge classical guitar.
Lake Oswego Reads: Guest Artist Reception and Show
Please join us for an Artist Reception and Presentation at the Lakewood Center for the Arts to kick off the Lake Oswego Reads community celebration. The 2024 selection is Honor by Thirty Umrigar. Each artist will speak followed by a reception and refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibition at the Dee Denton Gallery will run until April 30th and then travel around the state thru November 30th. See https://www.ci.oswego.or.us/library for complete schedule.
NWMA Open Studios
I am in studio 41. There will be more than 70 artist & vendors participating. From jewelry, apparel, paintings, printmaking, ceramics, photography, sculpture, accessories & housewares — it’s all here. Guests will have the opportunity to see artists at work, talk with local makers and check out the spaces where some of Portland’s best art is created. Enjoy local food, drink and live music.

Northwest Marine Artworks Open Studios: Save the Date!
Come see my studio and new work! NW Marine Art Works will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday & Sunday, July 8th + 9th; (10AM-4PM). I am in Studio 41 on the ground floor of Building 7 (maps will be available at entrance). With more than 65 artists participating including paintings, prints, ceramics, photography, sculpture, mixed media, glass, jewelry apparel and more.
